TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Booking
Bookings are made via the booking button for the relevant holiday apartment. You will be redirected to the booking portal’s website for this purpose.
Guests wishing to rebook a holiday apartment may make a direct enquiry with the landlord. This also applies to guests wishing to stay with a larger group (more than 5 people). In such cases, it is possible to combine holiday apartments.
2. Conclusion of Contract and Payment
Your booking request will be confirmed in writing. The booking confirmation makes the accommodation contract binding. The general terms and conditions are accepted upon conclusion of the contract. Upon making a binding booking and concluding the rental contract, a deposit of 20% is due, which will be deducted from the total price. The balance is due 14 days before arrival. For bookings made within 14 days of arrival, the full rental price is due immediately.
3. Prices and tourist tax
The prices are based on the holiday apartment being occupied by 2 people. The amount payable depends on the number of people, the season and the period of the enquiry. The price will be quoted to you upon enquiry, prior to the conclusion of the contract.
The local authority levies a tourist tax due to the property’s status as a health resort. The landlord is obliged to collect this and pay it to the local authority. Guests must complete a registration form and provide their details for this purpose. The visitor’s tax is payable separately from the rental price and is not included in it. Upon payment of the visitor’s tax, the guest receives a Black Forest Pass as a guest card, which entitles them to free use of public transport. Payment is to be made in cash on arrival.
The following charges apply per person per night:
Adults €3.50
Children and young people (6–15 years) €1.60
Exemption is available for severely disabled people and their accompanying person upon presentation of proof
Business travellers are exempt from the visitor’s tax upon presentation of proof
4. Cancellation policy
Cancellations made up to 8 weeks before arrival are subject to a processing fee of 50 euros. For cancellations made up to 4 weeks before arrival, 50% of the total price will be charged. For cancellations made up to 2 weeks before arrival, 90% of the total price will be charged. If the stay is not commenced, 100% of the total price is due. If the tenant cuts their stay short, they remain liable for the full invoice amount.
5. Arrival and departure
Check-in is available from 3.00 pm. Check-in after 6.00 pm is only possible by prior arrangement. Check-out must take place by 10.00 am at the latest on the day of departure.
6. Pets
Pets are generally not permitted.
7. House rules and guests’ obligations
To ensure a pleasant stay, the house rules must be observed. Smoking and open flames are prohibited in all indoor areas. A cleaning fee of €250 will be charged for any breaches. Rented rooms and furnishings must be treated with care; any damage must be compensated for and reported immediately. The loss of a key will be charged at €50. Only the sockets provided in the garage area may be used for charging e-bike batteries.
8. Cleaning and waste separation
On departure, the holiday apartments, including the crockery, must be left clean and dry. Rubbish must be sorted and disposed of in accordance with the guidelines in all areas. Windows must be closed and lights switched off.
9. Internet use
Use of the Wi-Fi must comply with legal regulations, in particular data protection and the protection of children and young people. Illegal use is prohibited and will be reported to the authorities.

11. Use of communal facilities
Communal facilities such as the garden or laundry room must be treated with care and must not be occupied on a permanent basis.
12. Liability
No liability is accepted for the loss of or damage to valuables (in particular jewellery and cash).
13. Termination of contract and landlord’s rights
In the event of serious breaches of the house rules or behaviour causing damage to the property or other guests, the landlord reserves the right to terminate the contract without notice and to expel the guest from the premises.
14. Miscellaneous
The landlord must be notified immediately if an additional person is staying overnight; this is only permitted with the landlord’s consent and subject to an additional charge. Any complaints or damage must be reported immediately.
